Courses

I have received several questions about whether it is possible to have courses. Rightnow, I am working on developing courses for small groups and will post info when this is organised.

At this time I can offer one on one private courses in throwing, hand building as well as glaze development and the practicalities of setting up a small workshop.

Cost:
The cost is 500 kr. / hour for active time with me (one on one) and 100 kr / hour working alone with me nearby for support when needed.  For example if we sit and work together for 1 hour and you continue working for another 2 hours, the cost would be 700 kr + materials if needed.

Clay:
Clay is not included and can be purchased from me - this includes bisque firing, glaze firing and a small selection of stoneware glazes.  You are also welcome to bring your own clay if you can fire it at home.  I will not fire clay that you bring; this is to insure that the material safe to fire at stoneware temperatures. 

Kit:
The shop is equipped with 2 electric pottery wheels, an electric kiln, workbench, stocked glaze material / scales / sieves, extruder, and a large selection of hand tools.  And an espresso machine.  There is also a small refrigerator and microwave if you want to bring something to eat.

What to bring:
Patience is necessary. Clothes that you can get messy in and will wash up well as well as a work apron. You are welcome to bring your own tools and a bucket, but it is not necessary.
